God’s Perfect Timing

Jared and I first met 13 years ago when I was a freshman in high school and he was a junior. One random Friday night after the movies, my friend called Jared’s friend Collin to come get us and take us back to her house and so I hopped in never realizing that the guy sitting in the passenger seat would one day become the love of my life. That night we walked around a pond and instantly connected. From then on, we talked for hours about everything and anything like we had known each other forever. Life took us in different directions for a while, but somehow we always found our way back to each other. Years later we reconnected in college and the spark was still there like no time had passed. After a lot of long talks, visits to Destin, and making unforgettable memories together, we realized what we had was something special. Now, six years and one beautiful baby girl later, we are so thankful God’s timing brought us back together. Some people search their whole lives for a love like this, and we are so grateful we get to spend the rest of our lives together with our best friend.

My beautiful baby sister, best friend and now Maid of Honor -  I couldn't do life without her or her fierce loyalty, unending love and words of truth. She embodies strength, courage and authenticity. So thankful God blessed me with her. She means more to me than she'll ever know and will always be the best part of me.

My prayer warrior, sister in Christ, confidant and best friend of 13 years. She carries the Lord with her everywhere she goes and because of that, she has a bright light within her that lights up any room she walks in. To know her is to love her!

My best friend since 6th grade, the girl I've gone through so much of life with, the girl who has the wildest vocabulary and whose infectious humor can make everyone around her smile. She's a trip to be around. She's a great wife and  momma to two kiddos. She's also my sister in Christ who is authentically herself at all times which is rare to come by nowadays.

My longest friend, my ride or die, the girl who is loyal to the core and will protect and defend the ones she loves no matter the cost. We've been besties since we were in third grade and we have a lifetime of memories together. She's the friend that makes me laugh so hard I have to hold back my pee. She's a great momma, friend and business owner. I'm blessed to have a friendship like hers!

My right hand, my go to, the girl who is always down for an adventure or road trip and thrives off spontaneity like me. She's a jack of all trades - the ultimate event planner, phenomenal bartender & an even better friend. She doesn't meet a stranger. She shows up like no other and is truly the definition of a villager. I think everyone should strive to show up for others and be the kind of friend to others that Jessica is to all those around her.

Shelbyyy Jeaannnn - my red headed, wild child whose bougie as can be and has a loud mouth that says whatever comes to her mind. She's the girl who has overcome so many obstacles in life and has come out on the other side every time. She's the girl I'm so incredibly proud of and I'm so thankful our friendship has stood the test of time over all these years!

The girl I met later in life but hit it off immediately when we started talking. It truly felt like I had known her my whole life. She's an amazing momma to her baby girl and I'm so grateful we've gotten to experience motherhood together. She's the girl I'm so grateful that God placed in my life when He did. Troy wouldn't be the same without our coffee, couch rot and yapping dates. It's been a blessing to have each other to lean on being first time parents.
