Jared and I first met 13 years ago when I was a freshman in high school and he was a junior. One random Friday night after the movies, my friend called Jared’s friend Collin to come get us and take us back to her house and so I hopped in never realizing that the guy sitting in the passenger seat would one day become the love of my life. That night we walked around a pond and instantly connected. From then on, we talked for hours about everything and anything like we had known each other forever.

Life took us in different directions for a while, but somehow we always found our way back to each other. Years later we reconnected in college and the spark was still there like no time had passed. After a lot of long talks, visits to Destin, and making unforgettable memories together, we realized what we had was something special.

Now, six years and one beautiful baby girl later, we are so thankful God’s timing brought us back together. Some people search their whole lives for a love like this, and we are so grateful we get to spend the rest of our lives together with our best friend.
